Nigel --

thanks for your thoughts.

I take your point about the repetitive aspect of sane/sanity. I've also toyed with 'sanity isn't always the wise choice' but it just didn't feel right...for me the reiteration adds something.

'Sanity is just a lifestyle choice' I can see working for a Brett Easton Ellis style story, but not this one.

Good luck with your own 'State...' story.

Hi Adrian

I don't know if you've put your straplines up to solicit feedback, but I thought I'd offer some regardless.

Please feel free to disregard, you have the benefit of knowing your story and clearly I don't.

I like the title (I'm writing a 'State...' story myself, State of Play probably has a lot to answer for), but some of the straplines struck me as just a tad dry.

sanity is just a lifestyle choice, perhaps?

re: "sanity isn't always the sane choice" - 'sane' is too close to 'sanity' for me, it sounds like you are repeating yourself. Would another word work, eg sanity isn't always the smart choice, or some other variant perhaps?

Just my twopenneth.

It is encouraging reading how many tracks you seem to be advancing on simultaneously this year.
